My parents are on a road trip. They haven't done this in years. I don't know if my college graduation would count, but that is the last time they have done (as a couple) any long distance driving.
This time they are on a serious-vacay road trip through the southeast. Fifteen years ago, this was fun. Now, I'm not so sure. They aren't the road trip sort of people. What they thought would take them 10 hours is taking them 12.
They have goals.
Goals and road trips don't go well together.
It's just not cool when you have to call your daughter and ask her for directions. The last time she was in Virginia, they were driving.
I get to see them and make fun of them on Thursday. . . .if they can find me. :)
Road trip!
