Been there, done that

I saw this headline on cnn.com. I almost laughed out loud.
My senior prom date was 21 years old. Upon entering the prom the president of the school board told him "I don't want to see you here again". I actually didn't hear it, but I saw Mr. Schmidt say something to Dave.
Dave still gets a chuckle out of that to this day.
Why was a 21 year old going to a high school prom?
He was a good friend. I told him I didn't want to walk over the bridge alone. He was happy to oblige. It was good, clean fun. He had no alterior motives. That was definitely in my top 5 favorite nights to this day. Spring Banquet '04 is up there as well.
The only thing I didn't like about my senior prom was they played "1999" by Prince twice. (It was 1999, but twice??)
