For those of you that have traveled outside the U.S., I hope you are as equally disturbed by this as I am.
There are no words, but this was one behavior that I never expected Americans to exhibit.
This makes me sick

The world is a growing and expanding place, my friend. This "behavior" that you talk about is simply how the world's economies work. You shouldn't be "disturbed" by this at all... if America expects to continue to grow, they would do well to look outside at the growing economies around them.
I'm a patriot and completely loyal to my country - but I don't believe that I would be being "disloyal" by accepting euros as a form of payment... that's just good business practice.
It's not disloyalty that concerns me. In my travels outside the U.S. I have been swindled because my money is worth more. I'm not saying that Americans don't swindle anyone ever, I know that's not true. It's making someone else, a guest coming to our country, feel like how I felt. I guess I should have seen this coming with the weakening dollar, but I didn't.
